Rambo is a vivacious, active brittany in need of a forever home. Rambo was found as a stray and is estimated to be about 3 years of age. He is orange/white, fit, with beautiful and inquisitive eyes. Rambo will need an active home with a fenced yard. Rambo currently gets a long walk (2-4 miles) everyday and is able to settle down in the evenings after adequate exercise. He loves to be outside chasing birds and butterflies. He also loves to swim. Rambo has a strong hunting drive and will be tested this fall, he is not gun shy. Because of Rambo's energy level, he needs a home with no young children. He gets along well with our other brittanies but hasn't been tested around cats. We would like to see Rambo go to a home where he is an only dog or there is just one other dog. He has come so far with training and socialization and we see him really advancing in an environment where he is the center of attention. We haven't even seen the tip of Rambo's potential. Rambo's weaknesses include leash walking (he can pull) and we currently use a prong collar to walk him. He is also protective of his rawhides. His strengths include a good and pleasing personality, though he does need a few minutes to get used to new people. We are putting the finishing touches on housebreaking Rambo with only a rare accident. Rambo is crate trained and sleeps in his crate at nighttime and when we are working. He is not a barker but gets very excited at feeding times spinning around and jumping with delight. Rambo's favorite place to be in the evening is lying on the couch.
