Description: Some call me “Red”. Some call me “Baron”. Thus I’m “The Red Baron”. I guess they call me that because I’ve got quite a story to tell. There’s no denying it…I’m a rather elderly gentleman. The good folks here estimate I’m 12-14 years old. I’m a happy guy and getting along well with my foster brother and two sisters. I would be very happy in a home where the folks are home all day and I could just hang out with you. Maybe there’s a senior person that would like an older feller like me. I’ll let foster mom tell you more…
Baron was recently abandoned in front of a hair salon in Apache Junction, AZ. A nice woman took him in and called ABR to assist. Because he was abandoned, he has some separation anxiety and doesn’t want to be left again. To resolve this, I give him an article of clothing that smells like me and he settles right down. He follows his “human” everywhere they go or remains in a place where he can see you. He loves to be petted, but is also content to lay on the floor close to you. Baron really needs his last forever home to be somewhere he can feel safe and comforted.
Baron is a great candidate for our Senior Companion program in which an active adopter age 65 or older, who chooses to adopt a Brittany aged 8 or older, may have the adoption fee waived. If you are interested in Baron, please fill out the adoption application. If you are unable to adopt, please consider donating to the ABR “Jake Fund” used for the care of older Britts like Baron. Baron is fostered in Phoenix, AZ.
