Dog Story:
What a beautiful little pup! Percy will melt the heart of anyone who comes in contact with him. He is very smart, knows his name, understands basic commands (sit, come), and loves playing with the resident 5-year old female Britt. He is doing well with crate training. Ok, so he’s not very happy when first put in, but he calms down very quickly. Housetraining is still on Percy’s TO DO List and he does well, most of the time.

Percy is a typical Brittany pup who has lots of energy, lots of love to give to everyone, loves to chew on anything and everything, and completely fearless of any and all other dogs, regardless of their size. Percy would be a terrific companion for just about anyone. However, small children might be a bit over whelmed by his crazy antics. He is already showing his hunting prowess in the park as he points and stalks squirrels, birds and geese. He has not yet been trained off leash, but walks very well on a leash with very little tugging. When Percy is in a fenced area he loves to run and chase the resident dog, but comes when called. He is a real snuggle pup.

Percy must be in a household where he is included in the family’s day to day life. As he loves the interaction with other dogs, a household with a canine companion would be ideal. No sight unseen or long distance adoptions for this boy. We feel it is important that all family members (human and canine) meet to assure that we have a good fit. Percy is a very special boy. He is still a work in progress and will need someone with the time, patience and consistency to give him guidance and perfect his doggie manners. Dog obedience is essential for Percy. If you would like to meet this wonderful guy complete the adoption application .

History:
Percy's owners didn’t understand the breed. He was surrendered to a shelter because they didn’t have the time to care for him. Percy is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventive.
